  Poorly trained and even more poorly managed. I went to get an oil change last week and the tech broke off the vacuum tube (what they use to pump out the old oil) inside the dipstick tube of my vehicle. Valvoline has no lift equipment for if something goes wrong, so this necessitated a tow to Meineke (who they use as a service partner for problems they cause). I was assured by staff that they had called for a tow, only to hear from the manager ~40 minutes later that he hadn't even called yet. All told, it was over 3 hours before my vehicle was towed and I could leave Valvoline (they used a tow company that was sending a truck all the way from Liberty, MO). I was unable to take my vehicle on a planned road trip because the length of the delay meant that Meineke couldn't complete the necessary investigation that day (driving the vehicle would have risked blowing up my engine). Valvoline offered no compensation for this entire ordeal.

  I had taken my vehicle to get inspected and they were concerned about the oil plug being stripped and rounded off. That company wanted to charge a ridiculous amount to change the whole oil pan. I contacted valvoline as they were the only company to change my oil since I purchased the car! They explained that they use vacuum extraction and would not have touched the plug, but either way to bring it down and they should be able to remove and replace it no problem. Chris was the person who assisted me as the manager was unavailable. He was very professional and understanding. They were able to safely remove the oil plug without damaging the pan and quickly change my oil! I will definitely be returning.

  Valvoline, especially this location, is always top notch customer service. The technicians make you feel welcome and valued. Every service is explained and there is zero pressure to add additional service though they do give you options. Fast, friendly, and affordable. I won’t go anywhere else for my oil changes.
