Every time I walk in, the staff is genuinely helpful and actually knows what they’re talking about. They don’t just try to sell you something—they take the time to explain things, make sure you’re getting the right part, and even offer advice if you’re tackling a repair yourself. It’s hard to find places you can trust these days, but I never feel pressured or second-guess anything I’m told here. Whether it’s a simple question or a bigger issue with my car, they’ve always been patient, honest, and reliable. Definitely my go-to spot from now on.

Joe helped me get the parts that I needed and sent me home with an additional part that I didn't know I needed until he helped me, now being a garage mechanic something else came up that I was unaware of and I sent my son up to the store with Dad explanations And somehow Joe was able to decipher that with my son and actually teach my son what we needed to do and get him two of the right parts and fluids so when my kid came back I had some printed off diagrams with directions from Joe and the parts we needed and it really saved the day and taught my son a valuable lesson ... Everyone at the store is knowledgeable and helpful

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
