  had issues with my jeep. was able to get it in fast and they diagnosed it quick. although first part was not correct, working with mike, ryan and his team, they were able to fit me in super quick after i brought it back. resolved the issue at no charge! would recommend these people to anyone. great to work with and do quality work! thanks guys

  DO NOT GO HERE! Worst experience I’ve had with any business in Lawrence. I paid them $1,700 for a steering job where they cut corners multiple times. They redid my power steering system and gave it back to me still whining because they did not use the correct tools. Not only that, but my belt was squeaking still which was supposed to have been replaced. When asked about it they said “we spilled power steering fluid on it, but hoped it would go away”. They ended up having my truck for 2 weeks because I had to bring it back a second time.Not even the worst of the job. To force through an alignment and close out the paid ticket, they tightened down a failing wheel bearing component on my vehicle without permission. My wheel completely locked up solid 500 miles later. If I would have been driving on the highway it could have been a seriously bad accident .When I tried to work something out with them about a warranty repair, their service advisor Ryan completely denied responsibility, blew up on me, and berated me, before telling me to remove my truck from their shop and to never come back. Had to open a case with the Kansas Attorney General and NAPA Corporate to have this resolved. Absolutely the worst shop in Lawrence, have never had a good experience with them 👍 EDIT: Whatever they’re saying in that response is just corporate slop, IF IT WAS THAT UNSAFE WHY WOULD THEY DO THE REPAIR! That’s not the situation that happened at all and they know that so they’re saving face for when their higher ups come questioning. THEY DID NOT do anything to me as a “favor” they did it to force the job through and collect money. AGAIN this shop is trash. Notice how they had nothing to say about all their other shortcomings except the one related to “safety and highway”. Laughable. Framing it as I was too poor to afford the safe repair so you did the unsafe repair doesn’t change your legal liability, and makes you look condescending. 👍

  While traveling from AK to VA we discovered a crack in our radiator. Even though we could have limped along, with 3 small kids, 2 dogs, and the summer heat we didn't want to risk it. We randomly started searching for auto shops that could get us in and stumbled across Lawrence Auto. We ended up having to camp an extra night to get in but it was absolutely worth it. Every single member of their staff was beyond professional and courteous. We were able to leave our dogs kenneled in the bed with their fans and there were plenty of shops within walking distance. They truly helped us out!
