  I would give ZERO stars if possible. After what happened today at the Enterprise branch in Hays, KS, I am completely done with this company. Yesterday, I booked and received confirmation for a midsize SUV for a one-way rental from Hays, KS, to Lincoln, NE. When I arrived today, I was told that the only vehicle they would give me was a Jeep Wrangler—which I obviously did not want to drive for four hours on the highway. I could also clearly see other vehicles at the branch. When I asked why nobody had called to tell me that the midsize SUV I had reserved was unavailable, the employee told me she “thought” the Wrangler would be okay. No. Your job is not to “think” on behalf of your customer. If the vehicle class I reserved is unavailable, CALL ME and let me know so that I can make other arrangements. Do not wait until I am standing at the counter and assume I will accept whatever you decide to offer. And no, I do not accept being blackmailed into taking a vehicle I do not want simply because I am already there and need to get home. As a result, I am now stuck in Hays for the night instead of returning home to Lincoln. I have rented from Enterprise many times over the years, and I have never experienced anything comparable elsewhere. These absurd reservation problems and this complete lack of respect for the customer have happened to me only at Enterprise locations in Nebraska and Kansas. More importantly, there is a very clear pattern: this is now the FOURTH time this has happened, and EVERY SINGLE TIME it involved a one-way rental with drop-off at another location. At this point, it seems obvious that certain branches simply do not want to send vehicles out of their local inventory for one-way trips, particularly when the drop-off is in another state. If that is the problem, then do not accept and confirm the reservation in the first place. You cannot confirm a one-way rental, allow the customer to organize their travel around it, and then effectively refuse to honor it once they arrive. Four incidents, all involving one-way rentals, are no longer an occasional inventory problem. It is a pattern. Enterprise has lost a longtime customer permanently. And after being left stranded overnight in Hays because of a reservation they confirmed but failed to honor, they should expect me to escalate this complaint well beyond this branch.

  Super busy location! But still did not take long at all too check in or out. The vehicle I rented was clean, The gas tank was full and everything worked as it was supposed to! Hands-down recommend You go see Amanda!

  Reserved a car via phone call to Enterprise, car was not available upon pickup, the Hertz local office will never answer phone calls and corporate customer service books cars when none available. Happened multiple times, customer Service is horrible. NEVER RENT FROM ENTERPRISE, they are crooked!!
