If I could give 0 stars, I would. They lied to my friend and I about her battery needing to be replaced to make money. We took it to another mechanic for a second opinion, just to be safe and upon testing the battery at the second location, we were told the battery is fine, the mechanic let us see the machine and the results openly. As the child of a lifelong mechanic, I asked what his next guess would be and we decided we need to have the starter and her brand new alternator tested. Auto Zone lied to us thinking we were just two stupid college girls who would blindly believe them. I will not be back. Ever.

Came in to get testing. Tried to explain what is hap with my car. Red headed guy was very rudeto me and would not let me speak. I asked him to test the battery and alternator. He told me that was two different machines. Went over hood abs then said, "it's bad" I had to ask him what specifically. He said "alternator" and walked back into the store. I think he said have a nice day but I'm not sure. A testing can lead to a sale..just saying. Be patient and be kind..

The emporia location always has pretty good stock of anything you need. Their deals are average with other stores, right now they have some pretty good clearance items. There's one employee that is exceptional above all his name is John an older gentleman awesome by far. Now if you get the unfortunate experience of dealing with anybody else you're probably going to feel about 2 in tall or have the wrong part given to you or pretty much just indirectly told your S.O.L. I would say this is a personal opinion but even friends and specifically my mother has gone in there and came out with the same opinion. I would be grateful for curbside to go cuz then you don't have to deal with too much interaction with the employees. The 2 star rating is for their inventory and mostly John(employee).
