  The Valparaiso In truck stop on RT30 … employees always very nice , but sheesh pay at pump rarely works…. So go inside to prepay & credit card machine is just as messed up. Can’t tap, swipe, or insert card messes up!!!! Ez with cash …. Hope they get pay at pump & card readers fixed Ben on going issue

  My credit card didn’t work at the pump , I went inside and they said they have some issues with the cards . Paid cash , a few minutes later I received a fraud text /email from my credit card about a $226 at this gas station . This wasn’t my transaction in any way .

  Let me stop by saying I have no problems with the gas station side of things . This review is on the subway side of things: I stopped in around 9 30 a.m for gas and decided to grab wrap from subway. The lady ,who later claimed she was a manager, ask me what I wanted pretty rudely. I overlooked it thinking that they were getting ready to make a transition over to lunch and that she could have been rushed . I ordered the protein wrap to which she sharply responded, "Which one?" I told her the Italian and she , again , sharply responded, "You want everything on it?" I responded Yes and she proceeded to fumble around with some stuff before she started to make it. Here's where it gets good! She quickly puts the sandwich together and a very sloppy fashion. In mind you, I was just at this location 12 hours ago in order to exact same thing and the young lady with dyed color hair did a phenomenal job at both customer service and sandwich making.... So I did have a pretty high expectation of what I was going to get today. Anywho comma while the lady was making the wrap, i asked her to add onions green peppers and jalapenos to which she responded, "I can't do that...this is a standard wrap." I said I was just here yesterday and got that stuff on my wrap so I'm not sure what happened between yesterday and today. See then responded, "Not here you didn't!" I I confirmed that yes it was this location and know the girl yesterday didn't have a problem with it . Secondarily , I don't want it on the side i would like it on the sandwich. She again doubled down saying that's not what they do so I just walked away. The dumbest part of the whole transaction is now you have a sub that you've made that you will not have to throw away and lose money when you could have just tossed a couple of onions , a couple of green peppers and a couple of jalapenos and the wrap and I would have been happy. Way to go grumpy old lady!
