  My husband and I put in for a rental about 3 months ago. We were set to pick it up on the 4th of July at 9am. We received a email confirmation with a confirmation number and everything only to get there with a note on the door letting us know they were closed for the holiday, which is fine. But it would've been great if that would've been communicated 3 MONTHS AGO!!! when we booked the rental!! So we call the enterprise customer service number for 1. Them to confirm what we said. 2. They said we'll we apologize no reached out to you all but maybe we can still help. 3. The guy said you guys can go the airport to still pick up a rental the problem with that you ask...you didn't but I'm going to tell you we live 45 minutes to an hour away from the airport which we explain. 4. So the next option we were given was well maybe we drop a rental off to you all we were told they would give us a call back. WELL IT IS NOW FRIDAY JULY 10TH WEVE BEEN ON VACATION AND WE ARE NOW BACK HOME AND GUESS WHAT WE ARE STILL WAITING FOR YOU GUYS TO CALL US BACK!!!! NOT!!!! I WILL NEVER AND I DO MEAN NEVER USE ENTERPRISE EVER AGAIN!!!

  Reserved a vehicle two months in advance. Was called an hour before pickup time to inform me they did not have a vehicle and that I needed to call other locations. Offered zero assistance in finding another vehicle. Called corporate and was told that their Indy airport location had one for me. Drove there only to be turned away. Absolute nightmare. Corporate has been promising that someone would be following up with me. Total lack of customer service.

  I’ve generally have had good experience with enterprise us 41 location but the wabash ave location has soured it! They didn’t check the vehicle or finalize the rental agreement when I dropped if off leading to a $611 hold on my bank account. I’ve called wabash ave location as well as corporate and they have given me the run around stating the hold would be lifted within 24 hrs. Here 6 days since drop off still have $611 hold on my money that I need for other life expenses! Horrible location will never rent from them again!

  Bait and switch! Reserved a standard size car and was given an economy car. Had to travel across the country in a lightweight 3-cylinder. Felt very unsafe in bad weather and was so uncomfortable! They recommended we try to do a switch out along the way. Tried four other locations and received horrible service! There were cars on the lot but “nothing available.” Was willing to pay more for a larger vehicle but they didn’t seem to want to bother. I will never trust this company with my travel plans!
