- GCG CMay 10, 20265.0You’ll not go wrong with this place. Stopped by this morning (Sunday at 8 am) soon after they opened. They were very prompt in providing the service. Amanda was the technician. She explained the options I have and also recommended what’s best for my vehicle. No sales pressure or any tactics to upsell. In fact, they found the rear tail light was not working and fixed that as well. Very happy to have found this place. I Highly recommend this place. I was on the way to Chicago and not even local. This team sold me on going to nearby Volvoline for my next service also. Thank you Amanda and team.

Right after leaving, my car would not go faster than about 10 mph and stalled five times. I immediately returned to the shop, where they initially tried to blame me. After a long discussion with the manager, they finally agreed to check the vehicle—and that’s when they discovered their mistake. They had removed the transmission plug instead of the oil plug and then overfilled the engine oil. This meant I was driving without proper transmission fluid while the engine had too much oil—both of which can cause major damage. Driving without transmission fluid can lead to overheating, slipping, and even complete transmission failure. Overfilled engine oil can cause pressure buildup, seal damage, and internal engine issues. They eventually admitted the error, saying the plugs were close together and someone pulled the wrong one. While I appreciate that they owned up to it in the end, this was a serious mistake that could have caused significant damage to my vehicle. I would strongly recommend others double-check the work being done and be cautious. What should have been a simple oil change turned into a very stressful situation.
