Overall, I have had a positive experience with Safelite twice. Why not a five star? Fast scheduling, though the telephone people seemed to be pretty new trainees as it took them a long time to figure out their processes as if they were new. Service on the phone then = 3 yet I am optimistic they will get a lot better.
As I left and drove five blocks, the rear view mirror drooped. When I tried to adjust it, it fell off in my hand.
I drove back, the ellow at the front desk dropped everything and raced to my car to get it back in the shop to be repaired.
They say that excellence is not always just perfection the first time but excellence in how mistakes are handled. Using that, Safelite service at the repair office gets a 5.
I will go back for service in the future, likely without getting other quotes.

I booked an appointment on the internet. Than I spoke with a rep. Picked my day and time and it was that easy. I paid for the windshield, I wasn’t able to be home, but it wasn’t a problem left my keys in the car and the technician showed up and replaced the windshield before I got home. Great job Hunter! Very easy and hassle free.

The process for scheduling was flawless as was communication with the technician, who was prompt and professional. Unfortunately, my inside rear view mirror now vibrates to the point where everything is a blur and it’s pretty much unusable. I have contacted Safelite to request a technician to come out and reattach the mirror properly so it’s no longer a hazard. Will update my review accordingly when the repair is complete.
