Went in for a tire patch. It took roughly 15 minutes and was reasonably priced. Environment was clean and welcoming. Staff was personable and had good information. Definitely recommend!

Blew a tire 600 miles from home on my fishing boat trailer. After some help from a friendly local, the guys at Tire Barn hooked me up and got me in to get me back on the road within 45 minutes. Super shout out to Tony who had a great attitude and was fun to chat with while he saved my vacation.
Thanks Tire Barn - Mad respect from Ohio!

Had to give a 1 since I can’t give a 0. On 6/19/26, I went to Tire Barn in Merrillville, Indiana for a tire rotation and slow leak. I paid for the “extra services” back in 02/2022. They said “the tires were out of spec and only had 4/32” (1/8”) tread left and they couldn’t do anything with them”. I asked what their minimum spec was to service them and they told me 4/32”. (PS, I run an auto parts store and according to our tread depth gauge, they measured 5/32” and more in other spots). So they COULD have rotated and fixed them, but chose to sell me new ones. The tires had a 65,000 mile warranty. I got them when the truck had 39,000 miles and now has 84,000 miles, leaving 21,000 miles until that warranty would expire. The tires have been discontinued, but he proceeded to charge me for 4 new tires of the ones that replace the ones I had. The warranty should have been based on the original receipt, but instead, charged me on the price of the new tires. They said they would “discount” the new tires because there was still almost 1/3 of the warranty left. By my math, I should have paid between $800-$900 for the warranty pro rate on the tires, but paid over $1200 because he charged me based on the new tire cost. I have since reached out to Monro, their corporate owner and filed a claim. My tire gauge said 5/32” on most areas and 4/32” on the most worn area, so they don’t even know how to read a tire gauge or they are just scamming people, thinking everyone is just stupid and will just trust them. Bottom line….NEVER go to Tire Barn…they’ll screw you any way they can! Sending pics of the tires they said were “bad”…you make your own judgement.
