  Had a quarter size chip in my windshield. Safelight did the repair and did a good job. They did a good job of working with my schedule, good communication on when they would arrive. The whole process was as smooth as one could ask for. No hassles at all. In this day and age that says something.

  The work was great, technicians were excellent, but it was a huge ordeal to talk to a live person with a specific question I had prior to service. I didn't get that critical answer (Can the technician drive a manual transmission???) until the day of service, which was frustrating. Especially had the answer been no.

  From start to finish it was an easy process. Website is easy to navigate and the technician called first thing in the morning to verify then a courtesy call about 30 minutes before his arrival.

  1 star only because 0 wasn’t an option. I scheduled an appointment on 4/11 and paid over $500 upfront to have my back glass replaced. Since then, this entire experience has been nothing but cancellations, excuses, poor communication, and complete lack of customer service. My original appointment on 4/20 was canceled because the glass had not arrived. Then the next appointment was canceled because they “couldn’t find the glass.” My son missed 2 days of school waiting around for appointments that never happened. I was repeatedly promised return phone calls from management that NEVER came. I called multiple times over the course of weeks and was constantly told a manager would “reach out immediately” or “call tomorrow.” Not once did that happen. I finally got rescheduled for 5/4, which required me to take off work and lose another $200 in income just to accommodate THEIR scheduling failures. Even after contacting customer service directly, I was again promised a callback from management that never happened. The most frustrating part isn’t even the cancellations — things happen. It’s the complete lack of professionalism, accountability, communication, and basic respect for customers’ time and money. No one seemed to care that this situation caused financial hardship and major inconvenience for my family. For a company that claims to have such a strong reputation, this was honestly some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

  My technician was Timothy. He kept in contact with me prior to his arrival, arrived as scheduled, and replaced the rear glass in my Subaru quickly and professionally. Timothy represented the company very well and is just the type of personable professional every company would be lucky to have.
