  Ok if you are thinking of taking your vehicle here stop, don't even do it, I had an accident which was not my fault and the insurance sent us there, my mistake was, not having seen their reviews previously, we took the car they repaired it, the blow was right in the bumper the back under the trunk and it turns out that when they repaired it the paint was fine but it was misadjusted, adding that when I picked it up I immediately noticed stains on the handles of the doors, glass and mirrors, maybe it got stained with some liquid. Missing parts and worst of all they delivered it without the rubber carpets that I have to protect the original carpets, I called them and told them my discontent but the attention is terrible and they do not worry about bad repairs. Unfortunately I have to spend my money on things that don't damage my car to leave it as it was because these people don't know how to do their job.

  Got hit by a deer April 18th about 4 dents and a little of the window outer edge came off. It is now May 27th and they said it would be done 2 weeks ago we called and they hadn’t even STARTED! We then saw it said estimated date May 29th but they are in the build up process🙄. Crazy how you can call this place “professional” and “best in town” worst place I’ve felt with in 35 years!

  We have had an absolutely terrible experience with Gerber Collision & Glass on Farabee Drive in Lafayette, Indiana. After being involved in an accident that was not our fault, our insurance directed us to this location, and what should have been a straightforward repair process has turned into an ongoing nightmare. Our vehicle has had to be brought back multiple times because repairs were either incomplete, done incorrectly, or new issues appeared after pickup. Every single time we think the problems are resolved, we discover something else that was overlooked or improperly fixed. The quality of work has been extremely disappointing. Customer service has been just as bad. My husband has primarily dealt with Fawn, who has consistently been rude, dismissive, and unprofessional throughout this process. Rather than taking accountability, there always seems to be an excuse, and blame is constantly shifted onto technicians or someone else. At no point have we felt like our concerns were genuinely taken seriously. Today I personally dealt with Rashad while dropping off the vehicle, and the experience was equally frustrating. He appeared completely unprepared and unfamiliar with even basic processes, making an already stressful situation even worse. When I returned and interacted with Fawn again, her attitude made it feel like helping customers was an inconvenience. We understand mistakes can happen, but repeated repair issues combined with poor communication and unprofessional customer service is unacceptable. We have lost confidence in both the workmanship and the management at this location. I would strongly encourage others to think carefully before using this Gerber Collision location for repairs.
