I purchased a full set of four brand-new Michelin tires from Tire Discounters just a few months ago. Recently, one of the tires developed a sidewall bubble out of nowhere. What makes this even more concerning is that the wheel itself shows absolutely no signs of impact damage. There are no scratches, bends, curb marks, cracks, or any other evidence that would suggest the tire hit a pothole or suffered a significant impact.
When I brought the vehicle back to the store, the employee at the front desk immediately told me it was an “impact bubble” and that it would not be covered. The problem is that he made that determination before even coming outside to look at the tire, wheel, or vehicle. There was no inspection whatsoever. It felt like the claim was dismissed before anyone was willing to investigate the issue.
I specifically purchased Michelin tires because of their reputation for quality, and I expected Tire Discounters to stand behind the products they sell and at least assist with a manufacturer warranty claim if there was any possibility of a defect. Instead, I was given an instant denial without any effort to determine the actual cause of the bubble.
I am attaching photos of the tire and wheel for others to judge for themselves. As the photos show, the rim is in excellent condition with no visible impact damage that would normally be expected if a pothole or road hazard was severe enough to cause a sidewall bubble.
I understand that impact damage is generally not covered under warranty. However, making that conclusion without even inspecting the tire is unprofessional and poor customer service. Customers who spend thousands of dollars on a set of tires deserve a proper inspection and an honest evaluation—not assumptions.
Very disappointed with how this situation was handled, and I expected much better from Tire Discounters and their staff.

Took my car to get a tire with a nail in it replaced.
Person at the front desk noted the wrong side for the replacement.
I needed the front passenger, they replaced the front driver.
Asked them to correct their mistake and they stated that my front driver tire had a bubble. I recently had my tires inspected and rotated and no comments were made about a bubble on the tire.
I asked them to correct their mistake again. They declined stating it was unsafe to send me on the road. And they offered to patch the tire with the nail that I was previously told couldn’t be patched.
I feel like this was done on purpose to try to get me to purchase a second tire.

Your front counter lady made it clear when 2 days before you had staffing issue should took that as clue n went some wear else
