  Rent The Crap. This location has the absolute cheapest fleet of vehicles of any Sixt location I’ve ever rented from. It’s particularly notable given that the company prides itself on “Drive First Class. Pay Economy.” Bear in mind it’s a franchise owned by a car dealer - Tom Wood - so it’s not too surprising they procure the cheapest, least appointed vehicles that you would use for service rentals. This weekend, I reserved a full-size car and was put in a Nissan Kicks, and the attendant cheerfully handed me the keys and said I would be thrilled with it, given it’s equivalency to a Toyota Camry (or similar). However, this subcompact SUV is nothing close - it’s grossly underpowered with a lawn mower engine that produces not even 140 horsepower, doesn’t have an automated liftgate, and the seats feel like cheap foam cushions wrapped in felt. Doesn’t seem to fit at all into a “premium” fleet, and rented to a Platinum member. Staff are friendly but they don’t have express service so you have to wait at the counter which at times can be lengthy. Other rental companies at IND offer a better fleet, do yourself a favor and avoid renting from a dealership.

  Be careful renting from this location. While I am a fan of Sixt overall, I was bait-and-switched at this location. I prepaid for a standard sedan. When I went to the counter to pick up the car, I was told that they had given my car away and the only available car was a $70 upgrade that I was responsible for. This franchise is owned by a local car dealer, and it seems the stereotypical tactics have trickled into this business.

  It was my first time at Sixt and I was in hurry. An upgrade was offered by the staff at the pickup counter without informing me about charges. I said no first, but she insisted that it'd comfortable for my family etc..I agreed. When I mentioned the higher price while signing, she cunningly mentioned it includes $200 deposit, talked about my corporate discount etc. At the end I was charged $141 over my original booking amount for the upgrade. On raising complaint, they refunded 50%, but I still lost my $70. Be careful while singing any price agreements with them. Staffs were polite, return process was smooth, but their manipulative and cunning behavior left a mark. Probably I'd not book with them again(or at least until I get my $70+ back somehow).

  Rented a car through Delta App. Never heard of Sixt before and now I know why. My flight was only an hour late but there was no one at the counter at 9:00. After AI chatbots and unhelpful phone agents I never actually got my car. Had to take an Uber. And they wouldn’t cancel my reservation because I booked through Delta. Use a reputable place; it’s not worth it.
