I was really disappointed with my experience at this Flying J in Indianapolis. As a hotshot driver, I paid for a prime parking spot for the night and simply wanted to drop my trailer, go to the gym for a workout, and come back to hook back up afterward. I was told that wasn't allowed. What makes this frustrating is that I've done the exact same thing at multiple other Flying J locations without any issues, regardless of whether they had security. If Flying J is a nationwide chain, the policies should be consistent from one location to another. Drivers shouldn't have to guess what the rules are every time they stop. If I'm paying for prime parking and occupying that spot overnight, I don't think it's unreasonable to leave briefly and return to my trailer. Consistency across all Flying J locations would go a long way toward making the experience better for professional drivers. I pray someone higher up can see this and realize they are the ones contributing to the suicide rates and the number of cases where drivers are feeling depressed. I mean, speaking for all drivers, truck drivers are the back bone to this country and we should all be allowed to take care of ourselves. Physically and mentally..

RV parking overnight was free. The staff here were all extremely friendly.

We stopped at your Lebanon ohio location and was completely disappointed. The trash all over the place the music at over 70 decibels in both the pump location and inside and the selection of ghetto music made us feel very uncomfortable. It was truly disappointing and we will reconsider ever stopping at your locations again

The manager this morning, on June 18th, was very rude and condescending. I tried letting another customer go in line while waiting in an other line. Starts saying Hello, Hello Hello in a very belittling voice. Then proceeds to keep making comments not professional in any company setting. I was trying to be polite and let another customer go and get treated like an idiot because she has no professionalism in any sense. Even the other woman helping me stated that was how her manager acts. Just from the way she was acting it’s a common occurrence and she is comfortable treating customers in such a poor manner. I’m an owner operator and spend a lot of money at these travel centers. This was enough to help me know not to come back to pilot. A simple act of kindness turned into a horrible feeling. That’s really a poor representation of pilot flying J.

Worst truck stop experience I’ve had. The restrooms and showers smelled awful, and the towels were not clean either. The laundry service did not work properly and wasted my time. The staff appeared untrained and customer service was poor. Management needs to improve hygiene standards and staff training.
