Enterprise Market Street (143 E. Market St., Indianapolis) was the most frustrating rental experience I’ve had.
From Feb–June 2026, I repeatedly communicated with Brock Hatfield, Jacob, Ty, Customer Care, and escalations regarding balances, invoices, rewrite eligibility, and DNR status. Despite months of requests, I never received a complete written reconciliation explaining what I owed or how balances were calculated.
I specifically asked multiple times what was required to avoid being placed on Do Not Rent (DNR) status and what was needed for a Michigan rewrite. I was actively trying to resolve the account, not avoid it.
A voicemail from Brock Hatfield included words to the effect of: “I don’t care if it’s in Michigan, it needs to be returned now.” I retained recordings of my communications.
Ty discussed a Michigan return and advised the one-way fee would be waived. I relied on that information when making transportation and financial decisions.
The most confusing issue: RA 3BCBCW showed a Date In of 6/19/26 and a $0.00 balance, yet on 6/22/26 I was told the vehicle had been escalated through Risk Management and needed to be returned immediately. I never received a clear explanation for that discrepancy.
I repeatedly requested review by someone above the branch level and never felt my concerns were independently reviewed.
As of 6/23/26, I am still seeking a complete reconciliation and explanation. I retained contracts, bank records, screenshots, recordings, photos, videos, and written communications documenting this experience.
