  I arrived a half hour before opening employee barely acknowledged I was standing there. Later without looking up asked what do you need, I replied an alignment, he became short aggressively stated if you didn’t make an appointment I’m book I can’t help you good day! Their door doesn’t display appointments only.

  Brought my daughter’s 2018 Subaru Outback with 110k miles for inspection & repair estimate for 3 problems: 1) Brakes were pulsating (no surprise since the rotors are original) 2) daughter said front made a slight noise when turning / making U-turn (wheel bearing / CV axle?) 3) droning from back of car when driving (wheel bearing / hub?). Subaru is notorious for bad wheel bearings / hub especially on high mileage cars) James Trump III, owners son & shop manager & mechanic did the inspection. FWIW I’ve been working on my cars for over 50 years but I’m a senior citizen now and some jobs (hubs, exhaust, struts etc which I’ve done in my younger days) are better left for a professional mechanic with a lift. James found that: 1) rotors were warped so he turned them on a lathe; pads still have some life. They work smoothly now but he made sure that I knew they need to be replaced. 2) the front passenger (FR) CV axle was the source of the noise (clicking / that’s a tell tale sign CV axle U-joint was going bad. He replaced this axle 3) the Rear Passenger Wheel bearing was bad and since it’s my daughter’s car use to transport our grandchildren I told James to just R&R both rear hubs. For the record he only suggested R&R the bad one. 4) he noticed that the dash “TPMS” = Tire Pressure Monitor System was on. He checked with his electronic device and found all 4 TPMS tire valves had dead batteries. I plan to R&R the bad tire valves when we get new tires (65K miles already). The final bill was $1410 but that’s a bargain to have the Subaru fixed properly. As a home mechanic I can pretty much tell if a person is honest and doesn’t push unnecessary work. James did a great job and now has my business as a family mechanic & shop manager! I met him, his receptionist Noelle, Warren and the other 2 mechanics. I was impressed with the clean bathrooms & waiting room, coffee ☕️ machine / water and children playroom. Thanks for fixing my daughter’s car James! 👍😎🇺🇸
