  I went to Belle Tire on 07/30 for two front tires and an alignment. I took off work early and arrived around 6 PM, only to wait until approximately 10:45 PM (which is insane) before being told they installed the tires but couldn’t complete the alignment due to rust. The very next day, my brakes completely failed. I nearly got into a serious accident because my truck almost went through a red light. After getting it towed home, I found a large puddle of brake fluid underneath which left my break fluid empty and discovered what appeared to be grinder damage to my brake line. I also found multiple grinder marks on my catalytic converter that were not there before I brought the truck in. My alignment is 50x worse and there’s clanking from the control arms/tire rods essentially almost everytime I turn which wasn’t present prior. I have worked on my own vehicles for years, so I know my truck and know these issues were not present beforehand, no leaks, no clanking and I absolutely had breaks. I was additionally quoted over $2,000 for tie rods and control arms, supposedly because they were unable to perform the alignment. I am beyond frustrated and genuinely upset. My truck is my lifeline to get to work and take care of my responsibilities. I brought it to Belle Tire expecting it to be made safer, and instead I ended up with potentially dangerous and life threatening brake failure and additional damage that has cost me even more money to repair to even drive my truck. I trusted Belle Tire with my vehicle, and I truly hope someone takes this situation seriously and I feel like I deserve somewhat of an explanation and compensation. The only reason I haven’t had the time to make this review is because I genuinely work all day everyday Monday through Friday and I’ve spent every bit of free time fixing these problems. Which has taken up every weekend I’ve had since.

  Came here for a tire, but of course, they're always trying to find Something Else. But I will get a second opinion. But so far, so good service

  I had recently had front & rear suspension work done and needed an alignment. My car didn’t make a sound and drove straight, but I wanted to make sure everything was aligned correctly. I have not been to Belle Tire before. I made an appointment online. I arrived for my appointment and my car was out in a bay immediately. My appointment was at 9am. I noticed the floor of the lobby & waiting area was very dirty and looked like it had not been swept in days. The area under the tv looked like someone had just finished grooming a dog. Later I used the restroom. The restroom was not clean and looked as though only the toilet might be cleaned regularly. There was a thick coat of dust stuck on the vent on the ceiling. The condition of the restroom was similar to what you may find in a gas station. Not really acceptable for a business that has only been opened a couple of hours. While waiting I overheard the staff try to sell unnecessary services to customers. Suggesting front struts to all of them. Quoted a woman $2,625 for front & rear struts. Told another guy he needed brake pads & rotors all around….and struts. I decided to read some reviews while waiting. I got nervous that when it was my turn they would tell me I needed something done. 45 minutes later my car is ready. They did try to sell me the extended warranty 3 times. And when paying the manager said, “And I’ve got that warranty on there for you.” I had already declined it twice. I get in my car and pull out onto the road. When I slowed to my first stop my car sounded like an old wooden ship. When I started to accelerate my car sounded like an old wooden ship. My car had never made this noise before. I stopped at a nearby Aldi and drove the car slowly around the parking lot. The noise only occurred when stopping and starting from a stop. Never when turning. Car drove straight. I’m thinking a component was loosened during the alignment and not tightened correctly. Or that a component was too tight after the alignment. I call the location and invited to come back. I enter the shop and the manager is typing in his phone. I am not greeted. I approach the desk and now he is on his computer. I am not greeted. After a moment he finished his typing and asks me what he can do for me. I just got off the phone with the shop minutes before. This guy knew exactly why I was there. He takes my keys and I stop him to say, “I’m hosting a party in 4 hours, so if there is anything you can do to expedite this, I would greatly appreciate it.” The manager looks at me with wide eyes and tells me in a condescending tone,”Sir, you can see I have your keys in this hand & your work order in this hand & I’m walking out to the shop. We will get it done as soon as we can.” 15 minutes later the tech tells the manager my front struts are bad. The manager asks the tech if the struts are old or new. The tech not know and returns to the shop. The tech returns and says the struts are old. I had my struts replaced 8 months before. I also had a full suspension inspection the week before. My car had no symptoms of bad or old struts before Belle Tire. I tell this to the manager and he says they should still be under warranty then. He doesn’t not offer me any service, estimate, or condolence. I get in my car to drive home and guess what…my car is silent. Not a single sound. No more wooden ship. Drives straight. Handles fine. Stops & goes without issue. These guys are crooks. Go anywhere else. Instead of just telling me they made a mistake, they lied to me. And when I called them on their lie, they gave up. I complained to corporate and got no response. Today the manager calls, does not identify his role. Does not indicate he is the same manager I dealt with. Tells me because I was not satisfied I’m getting a refund. Not because they provided poor service. These places that do tires & everything else are all the same. I don’t usually do business with them, but I just needed an alignment. Thought it would be easy enough. This shop preys on the ignorant misinformed. I will never return or recommend.
