I've always received top notch service here at this location until today. There's a brand new store manager Alex who refused to honor what was promoted by Valvoline on Google and even their corporate website he also was not forthcoming in explaining any charges until after the service was completed. I researched getting my oil topped off in between oil changes before I decided to come to business per Google it says this "Yes, Valvoline Instant Oil Change provides complimentary fluid top-offs, including engine oil, in between regular oil changes" the definition of "complimentary" is "either expressing praise or admiration, or given completely free of charge." Alex proceeded to tell me Google is wrong even though it's using Valvoline information as it's source and then goes on to tell me about charges and how he can't pay for it out of his pocket now we all know it's not coming out of his pocket. So I then showed him Valvolines on literature off their direct website "Can I come in just to get my fluids topped off? Absolutely! We are happy to service you in between oil changes if you need a top-off. We offer a wide variety of vehicle fluids, from oil to radiator to transmission to differential. Tire pressure checks and inflation are also available. There may be a fee for top-offs of certain fluids, but we’re glad to help however we can. For all services offered, find a Valvoline Instant Oil Change near you." Now this is a very vague explanation and this is exactly why Alex should have been forthcoming prior to performing any service, especially since other businesses offer true complimentary oil tops off between changes. He wasn't and wanted me to pay $29.19 for 2.5 quarts of oil mind you as I explained to him I have a box of 6 quarts in my vehicle right now I could've just filled it myself if it wasn't complimentary why would I elect to pay him I know the level is low because i checked it prior to my arrival I could've filled it myself. Alex doubled down on making his own rules I agreed to pay however when I asked for his supervisor suddenly Alex referred to me as "buddy" and he didn't know his local corporate address and he can't give out Nate his managers business corporate phone number. I explained to Alex after 6 years this vehicle and my other 2 vehicles will no longer be doing business with Valvoline.

Logan at Greenwood Valvoline Instant Oil Change Center on SR 135 provided excellent service today! He explained my car’s history report and manufacturer’s recommendations. The price is fair and competitive. Great experience! Alex, the store manager checked in with me as well. Will definitely return for my services!
