    Well, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me! I first went to the Jiffy Lube on State Rd 135/Fairview (Greenwood, Indiana) 2 years ago and they offered/recommended that I replace the windshield wipers; they said that the cost would be $30; I agreed to have it done. It wasn't until I got home that I looked at the receipt and found they'd charged me $60 for them, instead of the $30 I was quoted. Thinking they had mistakenly charged me twice for it, I went back and showed them the receipt. They said "No, that's correct- they're $30, but $30 for EACH blade". I responded with, "That's ridiculous- and can totally be compared to buying a pair of shoes-- the customer would just assume that the price tag/quote given is the price for BOTH shoes, or in this case BOTH wiper blades!" Needless to say, I was frustrated and disappointed- and although I should have given a review back then, I decided to just not give them my business anymore. From that point on, I went to a different Jiffy Lube (Hwy 31/Stop 11 Rd, Indianapolis, IN) where, although farther from my home, they've always done excellent quality work and consistently had great customer service. Fast forward to today- I was pressed for time and (against my better judgment), decided to give the Jiffy Lube on 135/Fairview (and closer to my home) a second chance. Maybe the first time was just a fluke bad experience??? I only needed an oil change and I had a $25 off coupon for the service. It didnt expire until August. Things seemed to be going OK. They were quick (I'll give them that) and I believe they did the job correctly . However, when it came time to pay for the service, they said would NOT be able to honor the coupon! They said that the coupon was only good for "certain locations." WHAT?!?! I asked if there was any way that they could just honor it- like most businesses and franchises (especially ones that share the same name) will do, and was told "sorry, but no, they weren't allowed to". * Insert the "Fool me twice, shame on me" quote here... I should have known better... **In all fairness, I will say that the employee did agree to give me 15% off (which although didn't equal my $25 coupon) it still took $13 off of the bill (for which I was very grateful). I also informed the technician that I wasn't angry with him personally- I knew he was just doing what he was instructed to do. Overall Review: Based on the two experiences I've had at this particular franchise, I feel that they do not seem to care about or have any kind of regard for repeat customers or good word of mouth. Unfortunately they will receive neither from me from now on. I'll be heading back to the one that is farther from my home. Today's visit at your store ultimately confirmed that its worth the drive for me.
