He asked if I wanted a expensive oil or the cheaper oil that Ford recommends for my Ford Escape. I told him I prefer the regular Ford recommended oil but I was charged for the expensive oil instead. Don't know which oil he put in. After paying I asked the manager to check whether the mechanic have fastened the slid plate back in place. He asked his guys only to find out they had not. The service manager hurried over and made them fasten it back in place. Then they tried to reset the oil usage indicator but did not, nor did they mention it, and in the process they changed several of the other operating settings. When I got home I pulled out the owners manual and reset all that had been changed and cleared the Check Oil Soon indicator which reset the oil life monitor.
