  Lied about SLP protection being mandatory. Later found out it is 100% optional. Branch tried to overcharge me several times later for the same optional protection that they told me was mandatory. Unacceptable and unprofessional. Based on other reviews, it seems others have had similar experiences with the staff’s incompetence. At what point does upper management step in? It has been almost a week since I was told the manager would call me, still have not received a call.

  Update: Contacted the help desk online and was able to formally request for a refund. Received a call from the branch a day or so later and was able to get a refund for the additional day’s charges. What impressed me, was the car I rented on my next visit was also good and most importantly, the manager personally apologized to me. Which was completely unnecessary since I already got my refund, but greatly appreciated. They’ve earned a better rating for sure, but would appreciate it even more if refund requests were directly catered to from the branch itself, without making the customer go to the help desk. Otherwise, my experience so far has been good 👍🏼 Was over charged for a day for dropping off the keys 2 min later than my drop time. The employees were inside the office but locked the door. I understand i was late but charging me for a whole day felt unacceptable. A late fee would have been okay, but 2 minutes late and they slam a whole day’s fee! Doesn’t matter that i have been renting from them every week since a month now and that me and my husband regularly rented from them before! We have always been regular in dropping off the keys on time without any issues in the car. We refill gas and keep the car clean. We always get there on time. It was my first time getting to the door 2 min late even though they saw me drive in 5 min before the return time and I just needed 5 min to collect my belongings from the car.

  If you don't do same day rentals, then your people on the phone should know that your location doesn't do that. Especially when I asked 3 times to make sure I could pick the car up right away. Going so far as to say, "I'm about to order this Uber to go over there, are you sure it's there and I can pick it up?" But the attitude of the people in the office and on the phone was the worst part. "They already know and they don't care," isn't a response to tell someone after i told them they need to update which locations can't do same day rental. When I called back to try to get one at another location, I was told they have escalated the case and I can't reserve another car until I receive a callback from the regional manager. And he couldn't tell me any kind of standard as to approximately how long the callback would take. I now understand why. That was 2 days ago and no call. That's OK. I didn't need the $10 I spent on the Uber. Or the other $15 i spent to get back to my broke down vehicle. $1300 later I welded the sway bar myself in harbor freight parking lot. Guess I need to go give them a review as well. If there was one competent person working for enterprise, I couldn't find them. Even after speaking with 5 different people through the whole experience. I'm just saying, poorly ran businesses deserve to fail. And this location shouldn't exist to frustrate people more.
