  I had a short wait because they were very busy, and that didn't matter. Once they called me up to the counter, no matter if it was pickup or drop off, they took the time to find out what mattered to me. They paid attention to where I was going and why, making sure I had the right vehicle to accommodate the needs of my trip. This time happened to be for work. They made sure my coworkers and I (we carpool through the week) were comfortable. We were also going for a company picnic, and we had room for our cooler, lawn chairs, and laptop bags as well. I will always choose the Bedford Indiana Enterprise for my rental needs!

  Checking the vehicle out and back in was a breeze. It was ready right when I needed to pick it up. I had zero problems with the vehicle. It was clean and performed well. It was exactly what we needed for our trip

  Extremely disappointing experience. We reserved a specific class of SUV in advance for a family trip to Florida. I called two days before pickup to confirm that the vehicle would be available and was assured that it would be. Instead, I received a phone call just 10 minutes before my scheduled pickup time informing me that no comparable SUVs were available, there were no upgrades available, and they could not source one from anywhere in southern Indiana. What was most frustrating was not just the lack of inventory, but the lack of concern. We explained that we were leaving directly for Florida and that this last-minute change significantly impacted our travel plans. The response felt very matter-of-fact, with little acknowledgment of the inconvenience. The alternative offered was a minivan, despite the fact that it was not what we reserved, wanted, or planned to drive for our trip. The manager seemed annoyed that I didn’t just take what they had. I understand that inventory challenges happen and that local employees may not control every aspect of vehicle availability. However, it is difficult to believe this issue was discovered only 10 minutes before our pickup time. Had we been notified earlier, we could have explored other rental options. Instead, we were left feeling like our reservation, time, and travel plans were not valued. Unfortunately, this experience reflected a lack of communication, customer service, and accountability. If you are relying on a reservation for an important trip, I would strongly recommend having a backup plan.
