I honestly love this shop, I come here to change my tires often and do alignment and balancing of tires; but today, I came with the surprise that the balancing is not accurate, meaning, the machine they use is only for 60mph or less, so if the problem is for higher speeds, like 75mph then the problem is not fixed. What Upset me the most is: I was told I needed a new tire (FR), because the thread was lower than the FL, and the mechanics wouldnt do the allignment or balancing like that, so I bought a tire (Fr), now the other (FL) which is also new, from this year, is also low on thread, and I was told to replace it... that replacing it will fix the problem... so they cant solve the problem of the balancing and now that I installed a new tire (fr), they want me to buy another tire... I mean, I lost all faith in this store now. These tires are not cheap! It's almost $200 each, even though I had the insurance and I pay almost $100 every time I change one, now I came to the surprise of the machine situation, and I just wonder, are all the services they offer, capped for quality???? Just like the machine they use???? So what if you buy new tires??? So their machine will not accurately tell you if the tire is completely balanced or not.
Update:
I just came from my dealer, and they mentioned the car alignment is a bit off, and the tires are not balanced. I believe the mech added a weight plate to FL wheel. And so, given this information, I paid for an allignment, I paid for the balance... and 3 weeks later well, it's not OK.
Just in case, the assoc. from the store are the best, I'd blame just the equipment they have.
