  This store is like a auto mechanic out in the parking lot a lot of people fixing cars l can’t find parking because of them that’s ridiculous

  Dario and Ari helped us about a week ago. I had been having numerous issues with my car and where my batteries were to be tested were in such a tough spot but they figured out how to get in and help me get situated. There was a lot going on in the store and I genuinely feel like Ari managed so well to get everything back to flow and still maintain such a great energy with us even though I know I was probably crabby from the stress of my own car issues! Ari reached out to Dario for further assistance and between the two of them, we just had a great experience.

  We had an absolute horrible day yesterday. If something could go wrong, it did. I contacted auto zone about an issue with what we thought was the battery that's located under the seat. The gentleman told me, they probably wouldn't be able to test because of the location, but they would do the best they could if we came by. It's important to share that while he didn't sound hopeful, he still sounded helpful. We arrived and a woman named Ari came out to help us. Ari was not having a great day herself, as she was juggling the floor for some time with a busy customer day but she presented kindly, was good spirited and had a smile on her face when I told her my daughter was having an atrocious day and to please forgive any energy she might sense. She immediately turned our day around with kindness and her repeated attempts to get this device under the seat showed that she was putting her personal bad day aside to make our day a little brighter. She ended up having Dario come out to finish assisting us and lo and behold, he was able to get the batteries under the seat tested. When they came back working, he offered other suggestions on what it could be and then tested those theories to find out it was one of the things he projected it might be. He was kind, professional, and knowledgable. While he couldn't fix the issue, he gave us tons of feedback on how to move forward with the problem and even played around with scenarios on why it might happen, arming us with the information we needed to confidently return to the mechanic for a different discussion. We felt so pleased with our experience, I offered to tip them and asked how I could do it. Dario promptly and politely declined and insinuated that they were just happy to provide us with service and pleased that we seemed delighted at the outcome. In other words, it was good enough for them that we felt some relief that we had a direction to go in to get our problem resolved. It's rare to come across this type of service these days, despite that it should be the norm. All I can say is I am happy that this is my continued experience here in West Chicago where this larger city gives the comfort of small town vibes. It feels like community members care about one another and that you'll walk in as strangers who are just friends who haven't met yet. Thank you to Ari and Dario for making our rough day, a bit smoother.
