Customer Service Needs Serious Attention I was out delivering packages when my battery light came on. I started my route with about 70 packages and had already worked my way down to around 40 when I stopped at this AutoZone because I needed help determining whether I had a battery or alternator problem. While waiting, I witnessed the employee behind the counter being rude to another customer. I didn't think much of it at first because I figured my experience might be different. Unfortunately, when it was my turn, I asked if someone could help me test my battery and alternator because my battery light had come on. Instead of actually assisting me, the employee handed me the testing machine and basically told me, "You know how to use it." I didn't. I was there specifically because I needed assistance. I then asked if they had a jump pack. One of the employees pointed toward an area and told me where it was. I went over there, but apparently entered an area that customers weren't supposed to access. Instead of simply telling me where I could go or coming over to assist me, I was corrected after the fact and then told I could only purchase one. My issue is simple: If an area is restricted or there is a limit on an item, why not clearly explain that to the customer from the beginning? Even better, an employee could have simply walked over and helped me get what I needed. I was not there wasting anyone's time. I was working, had packages in my vehicle, and was trying to safely figure out why my battery warning light was on so I could continue my route. This was a major failure in customer service and communication. I am asking AutoZone corporate to review this location and the way customers are being treated. Employees should be trained to assist customers—not make customers feel like they're a problem for asking for help. I have photos from my visit and can provide additional details if corporate wants to investigate. They even called the police on me for taking pictures of them for my Google review. Dario and Ari helped us about a week ago. I had been having numerous issues with my car and where my batteries were to be tested were in such a tough spot but they figured out how to get in and help me get situated. There was a lot going on in the store and I genuinely feel like Ari managed so well to get everything back to flow and still maintain such a great energy with us even though I know I was probably crabby from the stress of my own car issues! Ari reached out to Dario for further assistance and between the two of them, we just had a great experience.
