  Very accommodating and thorough. The whole staff work well and communicate throughout the whole process. Great attention to detail. My upgraded brake package works flawlessly! No noise no vibration smooth as silk.

  Unfortunately, the repair performed on my door handle, a fairly simple repair, was done poorly and incomplete (no cover piece for the lock portion)... Insult to injury, now whenever I attempt to use my Driver side window it scrapes against the choppy work within the door frame. Communication was severely lacking amongst their team and delayed our car from being released to us in a timely manner (when they told us it would be released). The lack of quality overall has been severely disappointing after being charged over $1000+ for all repairs done to the vehicle, at least the car starts up :) Would NOT RECOMMEND door repairs, or at least whoever did the repair on my door. A lot of talk about pleasing the customer but not a lot of action to back it up. VERY DISAPPOINTING.

  This is easily one of the best automotive services shop, ideally called CARFIX!!. Led by a great team - Shaq and manager Hector, I wanted to share a pleasant experience I had. I have a 2015 Hyundai Sonata , which had just touched 90K miles. The car suddenly needed more frequent oil changes as the oil light was coming on with in 2k Miles. I had got 2k mile oil changes at a different quick oilchange shops without actually getting it diagnosed. As it started needing oil changes more frequently, I took it to Carfix, who had earlier serviced my car ( transmission oil flush, brakes, etc ). Carfix correctly not only diagnosed the problem, but also suggested a fantastic solution. Engine was burning oil and they conducted a compression test on the Engine to produce a wonderful report that showed low pressure on two of the 4 cylinders. The car needed a new engine. But Hector and Shaq, being the nice guys who care about their customer, suggested I take the car to Hyundai dealer with the report they produced. The dealer ( Libertyville Hyundai ) readily concurred with the report and even though my car was just out of warranty, they pushed for a new Engine out of goodwill. There was a waitlist for it and eventually I got the engine replaced for just around 10% of the cost - roughly $300.00 because my car was out of warranty. What I wanted to highlight was the exceptional service from Hector and Shaq - who did what was best in the customer's interest, instead of pushing for engine replacement at their own shop. For all the diagnostics they did, they didn't charge me a penny and even booked me UBER to send me home while the diagnostics was being done. The car is now ready, and I now know where I will take the car for all servicing - clearly CarFix. Thanks Hector, Thanks Shaq.

  I came in just for an oil change which took just about less than an hour, they did a full inspection and kept me informed about other things that would be good to add to my service that day. They didn’t make me feel guilty or try really hard to persuade me when things were out of my budget at the time of the visit and I’ll definitely be back for the service they recommended! 😊 very friendly staff and very clean waiting area.

  10/10 would return and recommend. Their customer service surpasses Chick-fil-A standard. The entire staff was polite, professional and incredibly accommodating. They did a great job at explaining the issues with my vehicle and brought forward a comprehensive solution. All the work was done within a day, at a very reasonable price. They even cared enough to give the rest of my truck a look over since I’m driving it long distance. Big shout out to Hector (and of course the whole team) for providing the best experience I’ve had at a repair shop to date.
