  Last year, before a 1800 mile trip, had them change the oil in my daughter's car. Halfway through the trip, warning lights came on while she was in the middle of nowhere, saw oil all over the outside of the car, none on the dipstick. Had it towed. Shop there said oil filter was not secured properly. Valvoline didn't do squat but pay for the replacement oil change. Gave them another chance this week. Paid for 0w20 Full Synthetic, they put in conventional 5w20. They had to drain and add correct oil after I told them they put in the wrong oil for my car. Also oil left on door handles and gas compartment cover. Pretty sad really. I love the convenience, but they'll never touch another car I own.

  They couldn't find the filter. They were standing around not having any idea what was going in with my car. The lady I assume was the supervisor was great. She kept telling the others to get to work they just wouldn't listen and didn't seem to have any idea what was going on. They did nothing if not told. It was terrible.

  On Thursday, went up to get an oil change and arrived at 525, waited in line until 550 where was told they didn't not think they would get to me in time, but offered to still do the oil change that day but I opted to come back Friday after I was told I would get a discount for waiting. When I arrived Friday I mentioned I had waited on Thursday and was advised to come back. Was promised a discount for my wait but was only given the coupon on the website I already planned to use? I could have went to the Valvoline on Telegraph that was open til 8 and had it done knowing I was going to pay the same price. Don't promise a discount if you are just going to use publicly available codes that the customer was already going to use. Didn't give me any extra discount for the waiting I did, basically just made me wait and changed me what I would have paid had I gone to a different Valvoline. Will just start going back to Telegraph location.

  Watched the techs struggle with what I realized later was my oil filter, for several minutes, the young lady who started the process cursed and threw the wrench (she needs anger management), asking another tech to give it a try, finally the manger Evan who was more interested in getting back to his pizza approached me and said that the previous person I had do the oil change stripped the nut on the oil filter, well to me it looked like they stripped the nut on my oil filter, how do I know, because the way I see it “wouldn’t you have told me that the nut was stripped when you first noticed it?”, no they stripped it and come on your an oil change shop, “you can’t get a problematic oil filter out!”, the place is a joke!
