I had went to your location in Tinley Park to see if I can get somebody there to help me install a new battery in my car, even though it was raining and as soon as I walked into your establishment, I was greeted by a young man his name is Jason. He was so polite and helpful without hesitation told me not to worry he’ll be happy to install my battery for me and that he was sorry I was treated the way I was at the prior location and when I tell you, I was so thankful to have come across such a pleasant young man that don’t get annoyed that they have to do their job was a weight lifted off my shoulders. I usually don’t write reviews but I was just in your store again the other day and I came across Jason and once again he didn’t disappoint me so I had to write a review for him to let you all thanks to his awesome customer service my family and I will continue to shop at your Tinley park location from here on out. You have yourself a fantastic employee, Thank you Jason for all your help, may god continue to bless you.

HOW DO BRAKES WORK?

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
