  They kept 80$ of our deposit ! We had the car for almost three weeks and cared for it like our own!

  Reserved a van 2wks in advance, I had no issues picking up, the young man who helped me was very courteous, patient and professional, even though he had other customers waiting he made sure the customer he is helping which in this case me, is completely satisfied and taken care of, before going on to the next. Not sure his name but I believe is Roman. This will be my preferred car rental in Springfield.

  The young guy at the STL airport was engaging and knowledgeable. He made renting at Enterprise, (which l haven’t done in years) very pleasant. Only flip side is their required deposit is overpriced.

  service is HORRIBLE. My uncle tried renting a van that we BOOKED and HAD THE MONEY for, and was refused because “we didn’t have the money” even though we showed THREE different sources of money, we were lied to and was refused service. this is the THIRD time this happened.

  I’ve had two bad experiences here. First I was injured in an accident with an enterprise shuttle driver from this location in 2020, and no one ever called after I filed the police report, which I found odd. It was a serious accident and their own driver was pretty injured as well. After a series of mishaps with the St. Louis location not giving me a replacement vehicle during my most recent rental in 2026, I reserved a car here at this location through Expedia and showed up to be told they were sold out and had no way to contact me (not accurate.) needless to say, two strikes and I’ll never rent from Enterprise again. Had a better experience with Avis, who was able to rent a car that actually existed, not a fake “sold out” listing, in less than one hour. I think if you have a seamless rental (no accidents, no tows, etc) and they actually rent you a car that’s on their inventory, you may be fine. However, I would not wish the week I’ve had with Enterprise on anyone, hence this review/cautionary tale.
