  I drove all the way down to Springfield, IL. To see a coach I was very interested in purchasing. However, when I arrived the coach was filthy, the batteries were completely not charged, I couldn't even drive the unit. I felt as if I wasted my time driving from Davenport Iowa to Springfield, IL. To make matters worse, they never reached out to me and let me know that all of the batteries were completely down. I felt like they didn't value me, my time, or the opportunity to make a sale.

  The salesman (Matt) and finance guy (Alex) did a great job… however the detailing department was not very good. I went a week before and put my name on the camper I bought and signed up for the RV care package, which includes exterior and interior detailing. I went back a week later to pick the camper up and nothing had been done to it! They informed me while I was in financing they would get it detailed, okay great. We finished the whole process and when we were ready to leave, they said the camper was ready and we went to hook it up to the truck and it still was not detailed on the inside! We let them know and they sent out a few guys to detail the inside so we had to wait even longer for them to get finished. Very unprofessional and really upsetting for me and my wife, especially since we had a long drive.

  Matt and crew (tech, service, finance guys, deliver guy, all of them) did an amazing job. I could not be happier with the service and follow through. They make you feel part of the camping community even before you pull into your first spot. Thank you guys so much!

  As we arrived at Camping World the first thing that stuck out to me was, there wasn't anywhere for me to park my truck and camper. They should have a visitors parking area right in front. I have seen this at other RV-Camping areas. Once I found a place to park in with the brand new campers it was pretty relaxed. Our sales person was talking with us within a few minutes. I felt like even though I have an older camper that I was selling/trading, it was never discussed with us over the phone that someone else outside of camping world would be giving us a quote, or that the campers on site were mostly new and I was looking for a mid-year trade. We were able to leave our camper for inspection and see a couple of older campers across the street. We will see what kind of quote we get for ours? Our sales person was very nice and up front with us (I think).

  In October 2025, we bought a used 5th wheel toy hauler. We spent 3 hours inspecting this unit and came up with a fairly large list of things we would have liked to have been fixed. After some negotiation they agreed to address most of our concerns. They were able to fix all but 2 items before we picked it up. A couple days after getting it home the lights under the awnings fell partly off. When the parts came in that had to be ordered, we took it in for these repairs. We asked if they could fix them even if we had to pay to have it done. They couldn’t find a suitable solution to repair them and eventually decided to replace them at no cost to us. This is only the second time in 50 years of dealing with service departments that my expectations not only met, but surpassed. A huge shoutout to Aaron Moffat, service advisor and Jason Lowe, service manager. My wife and I whole heartedly recommend Camping World in Springfield, Il James Allers
