  Waste of time. I called to ask if my part was under warranty, they wanted to look it up from scratch instead of looking up my account, and got the part wrong. I was going to take a nap and do it tomorrow, but after being on hold for 31 minutes, I figured they were getting the part so I drove there and sure enough, they were getting the part for me. On the way there, after my 31 minute hold, they picked up and then they looked up my warranty, and I asked them to have my loaner tool ready. I got to the store, they once again wanted to look up everything from scratch, but this gentleman got the idea to just look up my account after some annoyance from my end. Now, because my nap is still possible, he asked me to buy my Warrentied part and then come back to return it later, and I said "how about you give me the loaner tool and I will give it to you in 10 minutes and you can then give me the new one" and he then looked for the loaner tool I always get with no issues at several places (AutoZone, O'Reilly, Advanced...) all across the country without fail and they #1) didn't know what it was and didn't have it and wanted me to buy this very basic loaner tool. So I declined, and left with zero parts, zero nap, and an appreciation of how dysfunctional these people are. Wouldn't ever recommend

  I went in to get my battery replaced and the employees were all very helpful and I am so thankful for the help I was given to replace my battery. It turned out to be swollen! So I’m very happy that they were able to get that changed out quickly and efficiently for me!

  I had a really great experience at AutoZone today, and I especially want to recognize the manager, Aaron, for his patience, kindness, and excellent customer service. I brought my battery into AutoZone today to see if I could use the warranty. Aaron explained that the warranty had expired, but instead of just sending me on my way, he offered to put the battery on the charger to see if it still had any life left. He told us it would take about 30–45 minutes. Once the test was complete, Aaron explained that the battery still had good life and showed us the reading on the machine. I really appreciated that he took the time to explain everything to me and my father-in-law. Unfortunately, after I left, my car still wouldn’t start, so my father -in -law started thinking that the starter might be the problem. I called Aaron several times that day, and every time he was patient and helpful. The first time, I called to get a quote for a starter. The second time, I asked why the price was different from the AutoZone in Hazel Crest. Aaron explained that the taxes can be different because they are in different cities, and he also told me that if it was the exact same part, he could price match it. The third time I called, I wanted to clarify the engine size. My father-in-law had told me that the car had a V4 engine, but I looked up my VIN number and found information saying it was a V6. Aaron explained that using the VIN is the more accurate way to determine which engine the vehicle has, and he took the time to explain why the VIN information was reliable. Throughout all of this, Aaron was extremely patient, respectful, and knowledgeable. He never made me feel like I was asking too many questions, even though I called multiple times. He explained things in a way that I could understand and genuinely seemed interested in helping me figure out the problem. Customer service like this makes a big difference. Aaron is a great manager, and I truly appreciate all the time and patience he gave me and my father-in-law. Thank you, Aaron, for being so helpful and making what could have been a stressful situation much easier!

  Customer service always excellent. When I couldn't find an item the attendant came and found it immediately.

  I went there yesterday around 2 PM and I had a bad interaction with a guy named John. I was trying to buy some headlights for my car and and told them I didn’t know much about cars if he could help me come outside and tell me if it was the headlights or low lights and made some excuses and declined to help me saying to me that I should know that stuff and when I asked if he could help or show me how to put them on, he declined with excuses again
