Five stars for service. Three stars for price. Service was good and quick in light of bringing it in on a moment's notice. I had to have my car towed to Dobbs mid-lare afternoon on a Friday. They weren't able to look at it until Saturday morning. It was a starter as we suspected. $800 later got it back midday Saturday. I appreciate the quick and professional service, a $200 per hour labor charge seems high. If that's the going rate, then that's the going rate. But it seems high.

All associates friendly... service was excellent! They made an appointment and got me right in. As I'm new to the area.... I am happy that I was treated like an old customer who had been coming there for a long time. Which was how I was treated in my hometown! They definitely will get more of my business.

They’re the worst. I brought my vehicle there to get it checked out. They call a day later to tell me that it’s going to cost me $4,000 to replace parts that I can literally replace myself. Obviously I declined! Now they said it’s going to cost me a $450 diagnostic fee!! Totally ripped off!!!!! Find you a locally owned automotive, don’t go here..

Had a battery installed on my Highlander for $300. On the way home I got an error message in my information center. They had me bring it back to reprogram it. On the way home, the message came back again. They said it was probably a bad alternator. An alternator would be $650. I decided to take it to the Toyota dealer for diagnostics. The dealer said the Dobbs mechanic forgot to connect a wire. I called Dobbs and the manager said he’d refund the dealer charge of $120. Waiting for the refund.

Don't give your money to this place. My dad has spent more than $20-30K on his vehicles here over the years. Nearly every time he's had work done, the past 3-4 times, he's left and something else was wrong or broken that hadn't been wrong when he took his vehicles in. When he took it back and told them this, they'd say it wasn't their fault. It usually was their fault. This past time, he spent $600 getting new tires put on, and when he left, the one tire was making a loud noise. He spoke to the manager who said it couldn't possibly be because of the work they'd done. When they got it up on the rack, they determined that they hadn't put the weight in the tire correctly, and it was rubbing up against his brakes. They fixed that after making him feel like he was in the wrong. He left that time, and his check engine light came on right away. He stopped in O'Reilly Auto Parts to check the diagnostics. It pointed to the catalytic converter. While obviously not related to tires, it's possible that, if they shop lifted the van incorrectly or used a jack near the exhaust pipes, they could've slightly bent a pipe, cracked a weld, or damaged an oxygen sensor wire. He went back the following day to talk to them about this to see if they'd at least put it up the rack to look at it and see if they damaged something. They said they'd charge him $180 to do diagnostics. They even told them that, if it was one of his catalytic converters, would they subtract the $180 diagnostic fee from the work. Nope. But, most importantly, they weren't even willing to look at his van for 10 minutes to make sure they didn't damage something. AND they treated him terribly, not like a customer who's spent $20-30K there despite continually having additional damage done when they do work. This wasn't the first time additional damage was done with him having to repeatedly bring his vehicles back to get more things fixed after paying good money. He's finally looking at other, more reputable places to get his vehicles worked on and spend his money at. Firestone at Scott AFB is amazing and does the job right the first time, and they treat their customers very well. If you have access to base, that's a great option. He's also looking at going to Christian Brothers Automotive, who has an owner who's got integrity and knows how to treat a customer. Spend you money elsewhere. This place won't do a good job, and then they will treat you terrible after you spend your hard-earned money there. There are so many better options out there. Even if it's less convenient, it's worth it to find an alternative to Dobbs.
