  Compared to other rental agencies, enterprise consistently has good associates that are always willing to help throughout the entire rental process. They go above and beyond consistently, and the cars are a great option for the price point.

  Overall, I had a good experience with Enterprise and would give them 4 stars. The staff was friendly, the vehicle I requested was available, and it performed well for the trip. There were, however, a few things that kept this from being a 5-star experience. The vehicle had less than half a tank of gas when I picked it up. The rental agreement properly accounted for the starting fuel level, so there was no issue there, but I still don’t think a customer should have to stop and fill up shortly after picking up a rental. Having the vehicle reasonably fueled and ready to go would make for a much better experience. The vehicle also could have been better prepared and inspected. The windshield was covered with bugs to the point that I had to stop and clean it so I could see clearly. During some rain, one of the windshield wipers came off, and the lane-departure safety system was displaying a malfunction and was not working properly. None of these issues prevented us from completing our trip, and overall the vehicle did exactly what we needed it to do. The staff was friendly and helpful as well. A little more attention to cleaning, fueling, and inspecting the vehicle before pickup would have easily made this a 5-star experience.

  On Wednesday I was given a 2026 Jeep Rubicon because my personal vehicle was involved in an accident and my insurance company partners with enterprise. When given the keys, I immediately noticed the interior was not fully clean. There seemed to be something spilled all over the cup holders. I typically rent cars from the Dekalb location and have never had an issue with cleanliness with the Dekalb vehicles. That was the first issue. Within 24 hours of having this vehicle in my possession, I was notified that the vehicle not only needed an oil change but that the engine was overheating if you tried to go faster than 30-40MPH. The air conditioning is unusable due to the state of the engine. I took the car in to the Dekalb enterprise because that is the closest location to me, where I immediately notified them of the engine issue and the oil levels. I was sent next door to get an oil change and told to see if that helps the overheating, unusable engine. It did not. It is now Saturday morning and I’m still stuck with this vehicle that essentially can’t be driven. I had to miss work last night after calling the enterprise road side assistance and being told a statewide alert was sent out seeking a replacement vehicle for me. I still haven’t heard anything back. This is beyond inconvenient. This location had no buisness handing the keys of that vehicle to me in the state it was in. I’m now a week post car accident, stuck with a car that was supposed to help me travel safely, but has ultimately added to my stress and can’t be safely driven.   I received the car with a flat tire. I thought it just needed air, but it actually has a puncture, and the car doesn't have a spare tire.
