The location in Dekalb is closed down. I was told by customer service no one was able to do anything because I had no receipt and they couldn't see I purchased a battery. Let me remind you I have the battery in my vehicle which is the brand they carry. I understand I had no receipt but it should be some kind of history for this damn purchase nope! Today is my birthday I was over heated. God told me to call St. Charles and let them know whats going on. I called and Jim was a Savior. He told me he will make sure the battery get replaced I just had to make that drive. I did what anyone else would do. I put my foot on that damn gas! I really appreciated Jim for that. Jim you rock!

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
