    I had a very frustrating experience with Enterprise Truck Rental in Rockford, IL. I reserved a 3/4-ton pickup truck specifically because I needed it to tow a trailer. Before picking up the truck, I went out and rented a trailer from another company. After renting the trailer, I called Enterprise to confirm the truck had a brake controller. They told me it did, but then immediately said they couldn't rent me the truck after all because they have a three-day minimum rental policy for pickup trucks. This policy was never made clear when I booked the reservation. If they had informed me upfront, I never would have spent money renting a trailer that I couldn't use. A simple phone call before my trailer rental could have saved me time, money, and a lot of frustration. Very disappointing customer service and poor communication. I won't be using Enterprise Truck Rental again, and I wouldn't recommend them if you need a truck for a short-term towing job.
