I want to thank Larry for the excellent service he provided today with my car battery and last month with getting new headlights. I am so happy my boss recommended Carpenter's Auto & Transmission. Best in the business.

My grandson had car trouble 2 hrs from home on Labor Day weekend. Carpenter's got him in on Tues and did all the repairs by Thurs. Larry was so helpful and explained everything along the way. Prices were very fair in my opinion. I would definitely use them if we lived closer! Very grateful for all their help!

I really trust Larry. Usually, I would have my dad look after my vehicle, but since moving to Rockford - he’s not available. Larry stands by his work and he really tries to break it down in a way that makes sense for all of us non-mechanics. I’ve always felt like I’ve gotten a fair price and that my vehicle has been cared for. I’ll never forget how honest he was regarding my Dodge caliber. It was driving oddly, and I took it in to two different Mechanics one quoted me $3600 to repair my vehicle, but Larry gave it to me straight that my old dodge was no longer safe to drive and that the amount of work needed to fix that car is not worth the current value. I received good advice that helped me decide that it was time to purchase a new used vehicle. Since then, I really don’t go to any other mechanic. Anyone who asks I always referred to carpenters auto on North Main.

Larry and his team always take the best care of my vehicles. They’re timely, considerate, and know what they’re doing! I’ve been a customer for at least 7 years and recommend them to friends and family whenever someone is having car trouble.

Kevin was very knowledgeable and friendly, told me exactly what I needed and got it done in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend this place. I needed both front and rear brakes on my 2015 Ram 3500 Dually, price was very acceptable.
