- TFThomas FrierMay 9, 20261.0Signs saying bays open. Drop off my truck, we'll get it looked at tomorrow. Fine, I understand. Truck not running right so can't really drive it. Then few days later I stopped back in, oh we're going to bring it in this afternoon. Next day, stopped back by truck in same spot. We're bringing it in now and let you know. Next day still in same spot hasn't been looked at. Saturday morning stop in and, of course, we're bringing it in at 1230. Stopped back 330, still hasn't been touched, we can't do anything till Monday.

- SSShatonApr 20, 20261.0I brought my Nissan Maxima to CarX in Peoria, IL on 03/10/2026 for a diagnostic and returned on 03/19/2026 for an A/C check. During the 03/19 visit, while staff were inspecting the vehicle, I noticed the car became difficult to move forward and in reverse, and the brake pedal felt abnormal. Shortly after leaving the location, the vehicle became unsafe to drive and had to be towed the same day by my insurance company to Nissan. Nissan later completed repairs to the brake system (calipers and hoses) and the A/C system (hose leak) to restore safe operation. This experience resulted in significant inconvenience and unexpected expenses. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this location and would give 0 stars if that were an option.
