    This place is fantastic for an oil change and I highly recommend it!! They were very friendly and efficient. I was greeted with a water bottle, given a coupon for $10 off, and they gave me an air freshener when they finished. I was able to sit in my car while the oil change was done. I will definitely be back!

    We were in the area from out of town and our car started having a strong smell so we were worried that something was wrong. We pulled into Strickland Brothers not too long before they were closing and they took such wonderful care of us, they went in our engine and cleaned out a bunch of oil and gave us diagnostic tips to help us get home safely. They didn’t even charge! I didn’t catch the name of the man who helped us but he is a kind soul and we are so very thankful for his and Strickland Brothers’ help!

    Guys at Strickland in Palatine were great. They did not try to upsell me at all. He could have sold me on the higher mileage oil change but since I had less than 60,000 he said standard oil was good and also showed me my filter was clean enough not to require a new filter. A very pleasant experience.

    I received a coupon from my brother and decided to try them out. Take 5 is my go to spot but Strickland was near my job when I decided to use the coupon on my lunch break. The two individuals that attended me were not welcoming. They spoke little to none to me. The older gentleman had an unpleasant expression as if I came in at a bad time. He looked bothered by my arrival. The air felt off and I wanted to get out of there asap. I wished it was a better experience. When I review my receipt via email, the employees had checked off checking tire pressure, coolant, etc. Which I can 100000% say they did NOT do any of those; no thorough checks were provided. I was given an oil change and out I went. Again little was spoken and I felt nervous. I will not be returning.
