I needed a new battery today. From the minute i walked in Kristine helped me out with a friendly smile and all her auto knowledge. She helped me pick the battery and explained everything thoroughly. She also did several checks on my vehicle that was appreciated. She goes above and beyond to help her customers. Francis installed the new battery and also was knowledgeable and experienced. He was able to look at pictures and guide me on what was needed. He was fast and effecient. This store is definitely top tier for customer service.

I called this store twice on 5/10/2026 and spoke with a very nice woman. She was friendly and professional, inviting me to bring my battery in to be tested.
I arrived at the store and was greeted by the same woman. She tested the battery right away and called me later with the results, confirming that the battery was bad. I then went back to the store. At that point, she told me I could return the battery since it was a $280 purchase and not cheap.
I installed the new battery, but it still wasn’t receiving a charge. Following her earlier advice, I returned to the store to process the return. She then admitted she had misspoke about the return policy and would need manager approval. She acted with integrity by immediately telling the manager that she had given me incorrect information.
Manager Michael Jordan came over and stated that store policy is “no returns on batteries.” Even after learning that his employee had assured me a return was possible, he was initially unwilling to make an exception. As the conversation continued and my frustration grew (my voice did become raised, and I did threaten to wait for police to get there) a taller bald associate overheard the situation and stepped in. Thanks to him, the return was eventually processed.
I feel the conversation shouldve gone like this:
customer: I need to return.
employee: Oh it's against store policy. But I did misinform you.
manager: she misinformed you, no problem. let's process this return.
While I’m glad the return was ultimately accepted, it should not have required me raising my voice and another employee intervening. When a staff member tells a customer they can return an expensive item like a $280 battery, the store should honor that assurance rather than strictly enforce policy after the fact.
**Overall:** The frontline employee provided friendly, responsive service and owned her mistake honestly. However, the management’s initial handling of the return was disappointing and unnecessarily difficult. The experience became more stressful than it needed to be for what should have been a straightforward return.
I’d recommend this location for their helpful frontline staff, but be sure to get any return promises in writing when dealing with big-ticket items like batteries.
Front-Line Woman (she had a name tag and I still forgot her name - she was amazing to work with):
5 out of 5 stars
*Acted with integrity, was friendly and managed my interaction with the store from 1st phone call, till I left the store with the return receipt.
Tall Bald Headed Manager (had name tag) and Michael Jordan (no name tag):
2 out of 5 stars
Growth opportunity: When a customer is misinformed, and you knowingly still try to push store policy, this causes frustration and distrust. As a customer literally expect you to be subject matter experts in the line of work you are in OR at least act with utmost integrity. Michael. I did tell you I'd write a review where you replied "I don't care" While I understand that you probably don't own the store, and didn't invest the hundreds of thousands of dollars that it takes to open an AutoZone - understand that whatever line of work you work in - integrity Trumps all.

I had a great experience working with Gustavo at AutoZone. From the moment I walked in, he was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. He took the time to understand exactly what I needed and made sure I left with the right parts and clear guidance on how to use them.
Managers like Gustavo make a big difference. I would definitely return to this location because of his outstanding service. Highly recommend!
