  I took my car in for a new battery and Lizzy assisted from start to finish. She was so friendly and knowledgeable about the specific gel battery the car needed. She also replaced the battery herself which was so nice of her. I would go back to this location just because of the great service she gave.

  Alexander was extremely helpful and knowledgeable while assisting me with a battery connection problem. Gabriel was also courteous during visit. Young people are often criticized for their poor work ethic. Alexander went above and beyond to help resolve my problem. Tami Johnson

  I had a very unpleasant experience purchasing a replacement battery at this AutoZone. The employee initially brought out a battery that was visibly very dusty and looked like it had been sitting on the shelf for quite some time. I expressed concern about it, and he told me the battery was perfectly fine. He then offered, on his own, to test it to prove to me that it was good. I did not ask him to test it or remove anything from the battery. The tester showed that the battery was good, but it was only at 60% charge and indicated that it needed charging. I asked if there was another battery available. At that point, his demeanor changed and he became noticeably hostile toward me. He told me the other battery was “way back” and asked, with an attitude, whether I really wanted him to go get it. I said, “Please.” He returned with another battery very quickly and threw it down on the counter. He tested the second battery and pointed out that it was also not fully charged, but it tested at 80%. I told him I preferred the 80% battery over the 60% one and would take that one. He then complained that removing the plastic caps and testing the batteries hurts their sales. I found that comment particularly inappropriate because I had never asked him to remove the caps or test the first battery. He was the one who initiated the testing because he wanted to prove to me that the original battery was perfectly good. I simply asked whether another battery was available after seeing the result of the test he chose to perform. Afterward, I checked the manufacture dates. The first battery he wanted me to purchase was manufactured in October 2025. The battery I ultimately purchased was manufactured in September 2026 — this month. He told me that batteries less than 18 months old are considered perfectly fine for them to sell. I understand that may be AutoZone’s standard, but as a customer purchasing a new battery, I am also entitled to choose between available products and decline one that I do not want. I never accused him of trying to sell me a defective battery or argued that the first battery could not be sold. I simply preferred a different available battery. What should have been a completely routine purchase became an unnecessarily hostile and intimidating interaction because I asked for another battery and chose the one I preferred. After this experience, I will not be returning to this AutoZone location again.
