  David Korn Sept. 24, 2026 Owner Midstate Transmission “Our honest and efficient auto repair services are reliable.” Dear Mr. Korn: Let it be known your slight against me as I left your business was not unnoticed. Is ignoring customers how you tell them they’re unwelcome? Sometimes there’s a bigger picture than a snap judgment allows for. Professionalism and tact goes a long way. Earlier this year, a Midstate employee damage three valve stems removing stuck caps. I’d purchased cheap valve caps that had seized. I was able to get one off but was afraid I’d damage the others. During an oil change visit I was informed Midstate does not do tire work. But when I was given my truck back the three caps were on the console. I paid Walker Tire to repair three damaged/leaking valve stem repairs. I never said anything to anyone at Midstate. A week after you recently ignored my thank you an apparently loosened radiator reservoir cap blew off as I returned home. Lucky it didn’t occur on I-39 returning from Comlara. Odd, only Midstate has been under my truck hood in ’26. There’s no logical reason my radiator cap simply loosened itself. There’s no logical reason my radiator cap was touched during an oil change. There’s no logical explanation supporting an accident. There’s no logical benefit of the doubt as you extended none to me. Your decision to ignore a thank you allows me to legitimately question whether you attempted to sabotage my truck over some petty bullshit. Unworthy of returning to your business?   I visited them today to have my car inspected. They were very friendly and helpful; however, they did have a very long wait time—something I hope they manage to resolve. They deserve five stars.

  My BMW broke down with a transmission oil leak and a no-start issue while far from home. Having lived here in the past, Mid-State immediately came to mind. I was pleasantly surprised when the told me they could repair the no-start situation too. They managed to fix this ongoing situation once and for all......so very happy about the quality and fast turn around on repairs! Will definitely recommend to my friends.
