Very disappointing experience. I have rented from this location many times and have been a loyal customer for a long time, which makes this experience even more frustrating. I drove all the way here for my reservation, but they couldn’t provide the vehicle I booked. They also couldn’t offer any reasonable alternative, so I had to drive to the airport location to get a car instead. This wasted a lot of my time and completely defeated the purpose of booking this location. This location used to be much better, but it seems the quality of service has gone downhill. I hope management takes this seriously and improves the customer experience.

I was very well taken care of by all the staff throughout my rental experience. I would especially like to recognize Steven, the manager at the Naperville location. From the very beginning, he provided me with an excellent vehicle, which I was able to keep until the end of my rental. He was always patient, professional, and willing to answer all of my questions, taking the time to explain every detail of the rental process. His outstanding customer service made my experience much more enjoyable and gave me great confidence throughout the rental.
Top-notch experience, from the rep (Steven) to the selection in the lot. Best of experiences are most fun when firsthand. Will definitely be back for future roadtrip-rentals!!

I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding my repeated negative experiences with SIXT since September 2025. Over the past several months, I have consistently encountered serious issues that have caused significant inconvenience and raised concerns about vehicle safety.
On numerous occasions, the location has either not had the class of vehicle I reserved or has provided me with vehicles that had serious mechanical problems. These issues have included:
Transmission problems.
Coolant leaks.
Tire-related issues.
Excessive brake vibration and shaking, which raises serious safety concerns.
Each time I have reported these problems, I have not received the level of service I expect from a company like SIXT.
In particular, I have had repeated interactions with the location manager, Stephen. Rather than listening to my concerns, he frequently interrupts me, argues with me, and dismisses the issues I report. For example, when I informed him that a vehicle’s brakes were shaking severely during braking, instead of taking my concern seriously, his response was simply, “I drove this vehicle yesterday.” That statement does not address or resolve the safety issue I experienced as the customer. He often refuses to let me fully explain the problem and instead provides excuses rather than working toward a solution.
As a paying customer, I should not have to repeatedly accept vehicles with mechanical defects or be treated dismissively when I report legitimate safety concerns. I expect SIXT to maintain its vehicles properly and ensure that customers are treated with professionalism and respect.
I respectfully request that SIXT corporate investigate this matter, review the condition of the vehicles being rented at this location, and address the customer service concerns involving the management. I would also appreciate a response outlining what corrective actions will be taken to prevent these issues from continuing.
I have remained patient throughout these repeated incidents, but the pattern has become unacceptable.
I look forward to your prompt response and a satisfactory resolution.
The staff is friendly and accommodating. They stayed open later for us because our plane was delayed. The location was easy to find. The check out quick. And the staff we’re very thoughtful about making sure we got the right car for our needs.
The car they gave us is awesome, too.
This will be my go-to rental company for sure.
