The Naperville location had friendly staff, completed the repair quickly, and did a great job on the repair. I could barely see the two chips in my windshield once the work was completed. The wiper replacement was a nice addition to the service as well.

Edward was exceptional. Safelite is fantastic, we have had used them previously because their scheduling is so easy, their technicians are great, and it is fair priced. Highly recommend!!

Had my windshield replaced in my 2017 Honda Pilot. Required acoustic glass and recalibration of the Honda Sensing adaptive cruise control and lane keep assist. Shop was happy to show me the replacement glass before work began to ensure it was the correct acoustic glass. Was kept updated on the progress of the repair. Work was performed satisfactorily and on time. Would recommend.

I cannot comment on the quality of Safelite’s actual windshield installation because they never installed one. My issue was with their parts-verification and quality-control process. Safelite had the vehicle’s VIN, yet they ordered a replacement windshield that did not match the vehicle’s factory equipment. Instead of simply acknowledging that the wrong part had been ordered and obtaining the correct replacement, I was asked whether I wanted the incorrect windshield installed anyway, even though it lacked a factory-equipped feature. That completely undermined my confidence in the process. When a customer provides the VIN for a vehicle with multiple windshield configurations, identifying the correct replacement should happen before the appointment, not during it. Because I no longer had confidence that the correct part would be identified and installed, I canceled the repair, contacted my insurance adjuster, and moved the claim to another glass company. I appreciate that the incorrect windshield was not installed. However, this situation should never have occurred in the first place.

After Safelite broke pieces off my Land Cruiser, never told me, and tried to glue them back together while replacing my windshield in my driveway last year, I made the foolish decision to try them again. The manager of this location assured me the issues I faced previously were because they shouldn’t have offered me mobile service and if I came in shop he would be sure there were no issues, “if we break something we will fix it.” So my husband and I both took the morning off to go drop my car off at this location. When we arrived I asked the manager, Renzo, if he wanted to see the plastic pieces that were previously an issue before I left. He came out and took one look at the car and told me “we cannot guarantee we won’t loosen or break anything. If we break it we will try to fix it but we won’t replace anything. If you want to make sure nothing becomes loose or broken then take it to the dealer.” He was rude and dismissive. If you want your windshield fixed and expect nothing else to be damaged or broken in the process, do not use Safelite.
