Ruined my vehicle with no effort to make things right
4 years previously I had mavis in mundelein install 4 new tires. When I picked up the car, I noticed they had installed them backward. I brought the car back and they fixed their error. I had felt the car was driving differently after this installation, but trusted that maybe it was just due to new tires. My wife is the primary driver of this vehicle, so I do not drive or ride in it very much. We recently decided to buy a new car, so I began the work to make sure the old car had nothing concerning occurring before selling it. Unfortunately, when I brought it in to be serviced, they found that Mavis had put a wrong size tire on my car. The mis matched tire had been burning out my transmission over the last four years. When a correct sized tire was placed, it was clear that damage had been done due to the sounds the car was making. I cannot ethically sell this car to anyone in this condition. I relayed this information to Mavis and asked how they can make this right. They were only willing to compensate me for the tire. They claimed that if my transmission was going to go out it, it would have occurred in the first year. The recent other service center I spoke to disagrees and says there is a cumulative effect over time from driving on the wrong tire. Mavis seems to think that the fair price for ruining my car is approximately $100. I should have realized I couldn’t trust them when they put my tires on backward. Don’t make the same mistake I did. This is not a competent nor ethical business.

Kyris was extremely welcoming and knowledgeable about the best way to fix my flat tire as well as putting in the work to get it done fast. Great customer service, highly recommend going to see them when you need tires done or fixed.
