Sexton Ford's journey began in downtown Moline with original owner Bill Sexton and grew under Al Pellegrini, who moved the dealership to 3802 16th Street in 1971. Al envisioned transforming the South Park area into an auto plaza, purchasing nearby swamp land that became the South Park Auto Plaza. The business became a true family endeavor when Al’s sons joined him, and in 1980, Randy Pellegrini took over as owner, later joined by his brother Gary. Randy led with warmth and integrity, earning a reputation for making everyone feel like family until his passing in 2021. Today, his son Vince carries on that legacy, maintaining Sexton Ford’s commitment to customer care and community values.
