I came in to make a simple return, and from the moment I walked up to the counter, Tom (who identified himself as the General Manager) had an attitude. Instead of helping me, he questioned why the items were being returned, why they were purchased at another location, and made me feel like I had to justify a return for products that were still sealed. If there was an issue with the receipt or SKU, that’s completely fine just explain it. There was no reason to be rude or argumentative throughout the entire interaction. When I finally decided I’d rather return the items at another store because of how uncomfortable the experience had become, I told Tom he hadn’t been any help. His response? “Well, neither have you.” That was incredibly unprofessional. As a customer, I’m not there to help the General Manager he’s there to help customers. I left feeling frustrated, disrespected, and honestly shocked that someone in a management position would speak to a customer that way. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

Brakes work by using friction to turn kinetic energy into heat. There are two designs: drum brakes (older), and disc brakes (newer). Both use hydraulic pressure to move a piston outward. In disc brakes, the piston is located inside a caliper that houses brake pads and fits over the rotor. The friction lining on the pads makes contact with the rotor to slow the vehicle. In drum brakes, the piston moves two curved shoes lined with friction material against the inside of the brake drum.
