- JJJordanAug 26, 20262.0Rating: ⭐️⭐️½ (2.5 Stars) I really want to give Tommy's Express Car Wash in Lombard a higher rating because the concept and potential are exceptional, but right now, 2.5 stars is honestly the most I can agree with based on my recent experiences. On the positive side, the facility itself has a lot of potential and the basic wash layout is great. However, the execution lately leaves a lot to be desired. Areas for Improvement: Customer Service & Prep: The staff seem disengaged and rarely come out anymore to pre-scrub or place protective plastic coverings on sensitive parts of the vehicle. Equipment & Drying: My car consistently comes out soaking wet, requiring me to completely towel dry things off and use wind shield wipers. Additionally, the final drying/spitting machines at the end need attention—the right-side machine doesn't even reach the vehicle properly. Product Quality: The tire shine feels very weak and cheap, failing to give wheels a proper, lasting finish. The pricing on the wash plans is also a bit on the higher side, so better promotional offers or more value built into the tiers would be greatly appreciated. Vehicle Safety: During my last visit, debris from the equipment was jammed into my car and inside the lightbulb housing—it looks like a red microfiber piece was ripped off the wash machinery and left stuck on my vehicle. I hope management reads this, steps up the quality control, and brings back the attentive service this location used to have. I'd love to update this to a 5-star review once these operational issues are fixed!

They don’t always put the plastic cover on your rear wiper, the soap that sprays out is less than before and also the spinning wipe towards the end is always off, because they are dirty and don’t get it cleaned.
