  We rented a van from here for over a week to go to Cooperstown, NY for baseball. There were a few hiccups, but not a big deal at all. Noah & Justin at the Enterprise on Roosevelt Rd in Lombard, Il were amazing and friendly and easy to work with. They were very busy the day of pickup and still remained calm and with great customer service. The new manager Drew has also been amazing. Will definitely rent from this location again.

  Got a rental through my insurance since my car was totaled. Came in and Noah assisted me and gave amazing service, super helpful, knowledgeable, and welcoming! Came back to extend the rental a few times and it was extraordinarily simple and straightforward every time. Always met with a smile and great personality. Huge shoutout to the team up there, Noah, Drew, and it was another young lady that assisted me! Excellent work :)

  I had a very disappointing experience with Enterprise in Lombard. I reserved a large SUV more than three months in advance for an important trip. To avoid any surprises, I even called three weeks before pickup and was specifically told that the vehicle would be available. Despite this, I received a call after 6:00 PM the day before my scheduled pickup informing me that no large SUVs were available. By that point, all other rental locations were already closed, leaving us with almost no time to make alternative arrangements. What made the situation even more frustrating was the inconsistent information provided. Initially, I was told that all SUVs had been booked due to the holiday season. The following morning, I was told that much of the fleet had been damaged by a hailstorm that had occurred weeks earlier. Regardless of which explanation was accurate, Enterprise knew or should have known about the issue well before the evening before my pickup date. A reservation made months in advance and reconfirmed before the trip was ultimately not honored. Because of the last-minute cancellation, I was forced to secure a vehicle from another rental company several miles away and at nearly double the cost. Enterprise offered no meaningful solution and left me scrambling to salvage travel plans, commitments, and accommodations that had already been booked and paid for. To make matters worse, despite requesting compensation for the significant inconvenience, additional costs, and lost time caused by Enterprise's failure to honor a reservation that had been made months in advance and repeatedly confirmed, no compensation was provided. If you absolutely cannot afford to be left without the vehicle you reserved, especially for a trip involving important commitments and prepaid accommodations, I would strongly recommend having a backup plan. Based on my experience, a reservation made months in advance and confirmed did not guarantee that the vehicle would actually be available.
