  I came to this Valvoline location for what should have been a quick oil change but has now become a six-month long nightmare. When changing my oil, the team drained my transmission fluid instead of my oil. As soon as I tried to drive out of the parking lot, my car was making loud banging noises and every light on my dashboard came on. I brought it back immediately and explained the problem to the manager, Jonathan. Jonathan proceeded to bring the young, female mechanic who had been working on my car into the back hallway to loudly yell and curse at her about her mistake, and the entire waiting room heard his every word. Jonathan then assured me they would remedy the problem. After being there a few hours in total, I was able to drive my car home with the oil change I had originally come in for. Just a few weeks later, my transmission broke, and I brought it in to a local shop about a mile from my house. There, I was told my transmission fluid levels were very low and there were not any leaks despite the fact Jonathan has assured me that they had refilled my transmission fluid after draining it. My local, reputable repair shop said my transmission issues could likely be the result of the negative experience I had at the Lockport Valvoline a few weeks earlier. I followed up with Valvoline about this issue through their customer care line to file a claim. Ultimately, I was put on a conference call with Jonathan multiple times to discuss this issue, and he was dismissive and, at times, openly hostile. I asked to speak to someone else about my claim and customer care repeatedly put me on a conference call with Jonathan and never let me speak with anyone else or even begin to resolve my claim. I would avoid this location at all costs due to the botched oil change and even worse customer service by Jonathan.
