  Sam was great in helping me get back on the road. I came in thinking I may have needed a battery or possibly an alternator and when we popped the hood I notice the belt was gone. He got me the belt I needed and recommended the shop (Integrity Motors) down the street. All done within an hour and back on the road. Thanks for the great customer service and recommendation.

  Use to be a frequent autozone shopper. Been going there for the past 10 years. We even use them for our commercial account. Not anymore. Just another day picking up spark plugs and quick oil change materials. I notice when i got back to the shop one of the plugs had a number written on it. I inspect the spark plug, it looks like either someone returned it or it was missed in quality control. I understand it happens so i bring it back. I talk to a different guy this time. I told the guy the problem, he stares at the spark plug for what felt like 10mins. Eventually he returns the plug and sells me a new one. No apologies, nothing. No compensation. Whatever maybe he was just having a bad day. So i leave and go back to changing the oil. Then i notice the filter i just bought from them had a dent in it. So i go back for a 2nd time. Just wanting to swap out the filter, And get on with my life and do more important things. Dude was too dense to realize i’m not trying to rip him off and i just want my corrected parts. Basically i just ask him to swap it out, he tells me oh you are the one who returned a brand new spark plug. I stop myself. Actually thinking if this dude is too stupid to realize what a plug is suppose to look like. He didn’t even go compare it with another plug on the shelf. Idk who he thinks he is, working at an autozone and acting like he’s a technician. So basically, I said what. He then straight up said, “yeah you lied about that and now your trying to get a free oil filter too”. Dawg its $15 in parts. I have better use of my time then trying to pull a fast one an autozone clerk. I ended up just leaving, after 5mins with the dude and i realized its not worth my time. So i went to advanced auto and they took care of me. Rip $10. At least im not being treated like a thief. Either way there was so much wrong with that visit its come to the point im done supporting them. I will gladly drive the extra 5mins to an advanced auto than deal with that experience ever again. It seems like it was only this store. I use to have a really good relationship with the Channahon and Naperville stores. If its not the snake oil they are trying to sell to you at the counter. Its the fact i’m being called a liar. Nobody feels obligated to apologize. No compensation for the loss of my time. Not even a small 10% discount on the corrected part. Which i know is a discount they throw around. I never asked for it. Its offered a lot more randomly than ever to fix an issue. On top of that i got an employee trying to mess with me when all i asked was for my part number. Trying to say jokes and lighten the mood. I got places to be, i dont want to hear your stupid dad jokes for 5mins. Ring up the part and get me out of here. If it weren't for the part being behind the counter, i wouldn't talk to you regardless. Either way it doesn't matter, i just hope someone doesn't trust these guys like they are some gods. They make mistakes just like everyone else, just not humble enough to admit to it. They are not technicians, you dont have to have experience working on cars to work there. I’ve known that since day 1 shopping there. Yet they act like act like they do know.
